Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance secret or glitch?

All you do is keep the whip out and can level up as shown. I think that im the first person on youtube to discover this. If not then the first person to upload a video about it. When I said keep the whip out, I mean keep it out and don't move it at all. You can level up really easy.

I'll explain it to you: According to the series the Vampire Killer is a sacred whip that hurts anything that is related with evil forces, it even hurts them just by touching the whip. So I guess they wanted to do some realism with this. And well you know, the zombies are one of the weakest enemy species within the series, so only a simple touch of the whip is enough to kill them.

@ThePooman101 No, they won't die in that case, they'll damage you. Because they're not touching the whip, they're touching you. I hope everything is clear now :)

@Polgani ... no take this as an example: 0:08 - 0:17. I hold the whip infront of me, the zombies walk into thin air, the whip gets a little POW thingy on it and the zombie dies from touching nothing. That is cool, but I still want to know why. Maybe the game thinks that im shaking the whip crazily like after 0:17?

@ThePooman101 No, it happens because the programmers were too lazy to add realism to that, so they made an "invisible box" around the whip that outlines it a lot, and that "box" is what damages the zombies.

it is not a glitch, if you try to do that on any other enemy, it wont work because they are too strong.

@ThePooman101 ok, when the whip is in the floor, it still deal minimal damage to enemies that touch it. zimbies and the only enemy that have low enough health, that the damage dealt by the whip being on the floor kills them
