"Oh, if you're h e a r i n g this.. I must have made it through"

August 21st, 2009, I lost a friend. He was a bay QH and his name was Pepsi. I don't talk about him much.. don't even edit with him. That could be because 1. I don't have many clips of him or 2. It's tough for me to reach back there. Not just because of him but because of what was going on with me personally then. A lot of people think they know me when they don't. Back then... nobody did. Nobody.. but him. After he left it was really really hard on me. I hated it. I hated myself for letting him go back to a place where I knew he wouldn't be doing as well as he would have if he'd been sold to a good place and not given back to where he came from.

But after about six months I found my way back into riding and here I am today. With Kandy. And I want him to know I made it through... I jumped through a wall I didn't want to when he left but I made it back. Kandy means more to me than I think anyone will ever know. She's so very special to me and I thank God every day that I have the chance to be with her because I honestly could not be happier. She's made my dreams come true already and I really just love her to death.

So, Pepsi.. this is for you. The "gift" you've given me hasn't died. It's here. She's helping it come along. I'm not afraid anymore of what it is. I finally understand it.. so thank you. For everything. I love you so much. I'll never forget you. She's taking care of me just like you did. :)
