http://www.fillmorepedal.com Hang Ten you hodads here in -- S T E R E O -- is "Blues Theme" by The Arrows as performed by me. This is a great surf rock biker classic from 1967. I am featuring the fuzz tones of the SolaSound Tonebender MkII fuzz that I built for a friend.

Here I am playing the 1981 Electra Omega X210 guitar a Les Paul Custom with Super Magnaflux pickeups. The amp is a 1980 Peavey Renown. The bass is a 1974 Ibanez Jazz Bass.

Tempo is 176 beats per minute.

I HOPE YOU LIKE IT.

  • Thumbs up dude.

  • Thanks for listening.

  • Wow, Perfect! Sounds just like the original, and that last note is killer. Man what I cool looking pedal -- I dig the clear enclosure and the big Attack knob, is that a yellow LED? It's a wicked fuzz, Bill!

  • Hi Lanny,

Thanks. The LED is yellow when off but when you stomp on the footswitch it lights up green. If you look at the video "Stupidly Wonderful Tone Control -- guitar effect demo" at 2:35 it shows it with the LED off, then lit up. I will send it soon I wanted to get this recording first and give you a chance to hear it. It really is a great fuzzbox I must say.

  • Hahah not you Dog, you and me are the only ones who still know what a hodad is haha.

  • the fuzz sounds amazing and great job playing

  • This song made me want to grow up and be an outlaw biker. I didn't quite make it though.

  • Überragend.

  • Uber Kind......allis

  • I know it's a completely different genre of music, but I kept thinking 'Dead Kennedys while I listened to this.

  • WOW!!! I WAS 10 YRS. OLD WHEN THIS SONG CAME OUT

  • Didn't the Chocolate Watchband cover this little number?

  • The song screams "Eat my dust you wanker".

  • Fan freakin'-tastic! Thanks for posting!!!

  • Since you're into surf guitar,I need to know the name of a MYSTERY instrumental I heard 40 years ago on the radio. I only recorded part of the song onto a cassette. It was a fuzztone guitar, and the instrumental break was a conga solo (heavily reverbbed). Using a virtual keyboard,I tried to repeat the opening guitar notes from memory: C D EF A Bb A G F F See if you can figure it out. It's NOT any familiar title.
