But they're little more than bandits. "Interrogation brigades" do nothing but torture and "burial brigades" are nothing but death squads. Now, in Syria the so called revolution has already devolved into sectarian violence. At Houla Islamists murdered Alawites and Shiites and Sunnis who didn't back the rebellion. It has gotten worse since. Randa Kassis has admitted that a gap between Islamist jihadis and the Syrian people is a reason why the rebels haven't achieved victory. Syrians know once these people are in power, Christians, Druze, Shiites and Alawites will suffer.

The ones who were executed were torturers for 30 years, they were all known. They themselves were not tortured they had a quick expedient death. Even you can see the man in this video was arrogant even while being knocked about. He knew that in a 'justice system' the established tyranny would own the justice system. Only criminal minds would feel sympathy for them.

'Atrocities' are defined by who is the winner in a fight for survival. If there are no field executions the revolution will perish. In a revolution the tyrant class are eliminated or the revolution cannot succeed. Revolutions, in a fight for freedom have no rules, especially there are no rules applicable by those who support tyranny or made by those who are not on the battlefield. Your agendas belie the veneer of your protest. Miss Manners guide for revolutionary behaviour is seriously lacking.

Field Executions ARE atrocities. You take Prisoners of WAR, not conduct summary executions after torture.

Ask yourself, what kind of "revolution" would be funded and supported by the absolute monarchies of Saudi Arbaia, Bahrain, Qatar, the Turkish military(oppressors of the Kurds) and the imperialist US? Not one that works out well for the Syrian people. Just like Libya, it is about geopolitics, not liberation.
