BEAUTIFUL WORK THANX

What sort of pens/paints are you using, please? What sort of money do you charge for these boards? Thanks.

you have to keep trying different combinations until it works. My combinations are intelectual knowledge so would get shot if I divulged them.

Hi. Beautiful work. I'm an arbrush artist but I'm interested in getting into chalkboard art here in England. Please tell me, the main text on the menu, is that a particular style (ie calligraphy) or is it just your own handwriting? It's very stylish.

Hi Huppy,
Fantasic work well done. Good to see a fellow artist & their work. If you see my videos you'll see I do similar stuff. You seem to put a lot of work into your pieces with great results. I tend to spend less time so I can charge less and come back & repeat boards after a few weeks. I only use a Mahl stick if I am using a brush like next week. Oddly enough this is a return visit after only 6 months. They changed the name of the restaurant!
All the best

Thanks John. I do a lot of cheaper work as well, however I try & market the good stuff because I enjoy it so much more. I generally have a 3 tier price list...budget, good, & money is no object. I enjyed a couple of videos & when I get time, Ill check the others out. Cheers from Oz.

I'm trying to do this myself to get a few jobs locally here in the US. I've tried oil pastels but the reds and oranges are not very bright. The chalks look great until I apply fixative. Any suggestions ?

mmm..try different pastels. I always put a piant backgound down first, however this may be difficult without lettering & brush skills & knowlege.
