  • Remember that sheet music on the piano, then listening to the 78rpm on the gramaphone. Sing along all the time! Right Colin3311? Oh Right monkey! lol. Loads of memories here! :0) Luv BB x

  • Reg not to be confused with Reginlald. I remember Reg too, but I need a few more reminders please."Just a minute rings a bell but thats all I can recall without prompting.Al Read was another of that vintage wasn't he?Right monkey!

  • Reg was the husband from my grandmother

  • I was eight years old when first I heard this. Never forgotten it. Beautiful.

  • @crossleydd42 - my mate and I had trouble holding the heavy spotlights steady. Mr. McGuffie was not happy and snapped at us. When I saw the fire I tightened it to nip down and tell the ratty flight sergeant (Got the spelling right this time)

  • @silverstartrucker

Now you do bring back memories with Bill McGuffie, a very underrated jazz pianist.

  • I always recall him on BBC radio when he held his one-way phone conversations and his saying 'Just a minute, just a minute'!.

  • Reg did a concert once at RAF Halton nr Aylesbury. I was on the spotlights as Bill McGuffie the pianist did his act. I saw smoke coming from under the stage so quickly nipped to the Flight Sargent's office. He was having a drink with Reg. He snapped...What is it Dale...Excuse me Flight Sargent, the stage is on fire...WHAT, WHAT, PANIC, PANIC, Reg nearly dropped his drink. The small fire was soon put out.

  • Brilliant find,my father used to play this on the piano and we all sang to it. Happy memories.

  • I've been looking for this for ages, and a fellow YouTuber pointed me in this direction. Many thanks for posting and filling a small hole in my collection.
