Can you explain how you get the pins out of the machine? The torq screws were easy but the other pins don't seem to have any place to grip them with any tool I can think of.

@TheChristopher16 Can you explain the correct way to take it apart? I am trying to and I've removed the T6 torx screws from the bottom but the thing isnt coming part at all. All I can see are a lot of screw ends. Thanks.

I was able to open the machine by taking a large nail, sawing off the point, drilling a hole in the shaft and squashing this to form an ellipse to suit the screw heads. I also bent the top bit of the nail to make an L shape like an allen key wrench. I got in the machine, but it's so complicated, it still sits in a box on a shelf in the garage. It's a real shame, as it was an expensive present from my sis!

Hi Just wondering but were you still within the one year warranty when they replaced it?

Hi i have the same machine and it started to leak from the bottom as well but i am still getting "coffee" from the front but my counter ends up soaked. How were you able to open the machine? i was trying to get into it. I unscrewed the bottom plate but hit a dead end when there was nothing more to unscrew. seems like they made it very hard to get into.

Hi, got one the same, took it apart, and seems that there is limescale built up in the pump. The effects are the same, but the leak you have is a tube that burst or has disconnected cause of pressure building up. I still have to de-scale it, but don't know how.
I got the same prob....

Contact Nespresso, man. They replaced the unit and even gave me an upgrade.
