Has noone finished a makashi form? I'm most interested in it because fencing is my preferred fighting style... Been searching youtube and google for a few days now but nothing that looks even remotely polished showing up. :( Guess for now theres nothing to do but wait and watch Dooku fight.

LOL! makashi was descibed as smooth, fluid, and graceful. that demo looked like a paramilitary drill performed by a dancer with no sense of beat.

@NeoIsrafil Yes, indeed! That's also what I've done. Lol, you'd be surprised at how much you can learn, just from the films, even if the sabers, in reality, are weightless in their hue/blade.

What disappoints me a little is that this guy is more of a rapier fencer than Dooku was in the movies; they didn't take that aspect of Dooku's style nearly far enough.

??? That wasn't Makashi!!! That was so slow and mechanical. Makashi is graceful and flowing but aggressive and powerful to.

@TonyPstunts Lightsaber forms were based on traditional sword forms, so, uh, I really don't know how to put this, but... IT ALWAYS WAS.

Watch the Clone Wars - Dooku vs Ventress & The Nightsisters. A beautiful display of Form II being used. A sight to behold. All of a sudden it ahs become my favourite style.
