Homebrew 20m SSB transceiver designed and built from scratch using military surplus parts from hamfests to give it a vintage look. This radio is capable of 40 watts PEP transmit power. It should have a front-end noise figure of about 1 dB. Low phase noise VFO and BFO used. Bi-directional signal chain. Made in England vernier dial which provides smooth tuning. Military surplus plates covering up the holes in the surplus chassis that was used to house the radio, adding to the appearance.

Thanks Tom,
In researching this project i watched your home brew videos. There are a number of good home brew SSB transceiver demos on youtube, it's great that the community is sharing their work.
