WasteCare "Skills Help for Employers to Beat the Recession"

In 2009, the Brighouse base of Heritage Ceramics closed following a re-structure, and the 46-strong workforce faced the prospect of losing their jobs.

But before the business closed, the employees were offered the opportunity to develop their skills and training to give them the best possible chance of finding new jobs.

Now, thanks to their additional skills and qualifications, four former Heritage employees are settling into new careers at recycling firm Wastecare in Halifax.
