Oh poor engine, i hate to tell you but your wrong when you say "it's fine to do once and a while". Your engine wouldn't have had time to fully coat the cylinders with oil. Your oil pressure would have been very high as the thick oil is TRYING to be pumped at a high rate... possibly damaging your head gasket.

Is that ticking sound on idle normal? because i had it before on my FX but i havent heard it ever since...i think its from not full warm ups from the cylinder and pistons...therefore i warm it up fully all the time to 1000 rpm to be exact before i leave...warming up too much can also deterior your oil causing a need for more frequent oil changes...how often do you change ur oil?

Yeah damn revving it up like that is a no no, oh well it is your FX. What I can say though is unlike an American product it can probably handle that abuse much better.
