Cream fue una banda de rock formada en Londres en el año 1966 y una de las bandas más influyentes de los años ´60. Fue uno de los primeros power tríos de la época, integrada por Eric Clapton (guitarra), Jack Bruce (bajo y voz) y Ginger Baker (batería).
Cream irrumpió con éxito en Estados Unidos con una gira; sin embargo, con sólo tres álbumes de estudio en el mercado, la banda decide separarse ya que Eric Clapton, tras haber escuchado el álbum de The Band "Music from the Big Pink", declaró
que el sonido de Cream ya estaba pasado de moda.
El 26 de noviembre de 1968 en el Royal Albert Hall de Londres, Cream da un último concierto despidiéndose así de los escenarios.
En mayo del 2005, la banda Cream se reune una vez más en el Royal Albert Hall de Londres para interpretar algunas de sus canciones más emblemáticas.
