Try lower 38 on sunday nights - Radio Canada check-in. Huge dedicated groups of 11 meter in Manitoba, etc. Turn the beams north and say hi. Love the vids

It's true, there are a lot less people on the 11 meter band as there was in the past. Things have changed. Get your ham licence and talk on 2 meters or 80 meters. There are people on there all the time.

Nah, I'll probably go back to it eventually. I've quit it many times but I always go back sooner or later.

Good lookin setup you have there. I got a Maverick just like that and an RCI 2960 on an antron 99 but I never use it anymore.

i went out and bought a galaxy rig about a year ago...putting out 250 watts here in new york city and it sucked..there was nobody on except the folks in skipland....so i sold it. used to be heavy in the 70's...so sad
