if you deafeat the V5 machine you get supervulcan trust me i got it from the 5th mr.prog he is in central 1 at the portal left if you go out form lan's hp but you need to beat all to see the last 1 there

Find different colored programs. The person that gives you the card tells you where to find the first one.

When you run around in certain areas, you will encounter 'Rare' viruses. Defeat them, and they will be added to your virus card. Just know that they aren't called rare for nothing, each area can only have one specific virus (i.e. Central Area 1 and Central Area 2, not just Central Area as a whole) and not every area has one. Check the FAQs on Gamespot for locations.

In one of the blackboards in the school, an evil navi sells a virus card to you. Then, go around the net looking for viruses that have 'rare' in their names (e.g. mettaur, mettaur, reremattaur) and when you beat them, they are added to the card. Then look for strange-colored programs and talk to them to fight. The card has Mettaur and Gunner on it already.
