Soul Calibur 4 - Astaroth Combos

Here's a few Astaroth combos. Some are very damaging, while others may be to ring out.

SOME COMBOS ARE SHAKEABLE! I do realize that some of these are shakeable. However, when playing online, you will more than likely be able to pull these off in low level fights.

The last two combos are wall-stun combos. You can do any number of things with wall-stuns, and these are just examples.

The first wall-stun combo was messed up by the training effect of regenerating. It's a pretty decent combo when their health doesn't regenerate.

The second wall-stun combo is similar to the first, but with a different grapple ending.

The Combos in Order:

4B+K, B, 2 A+K (To pick them up off the ground.)

22_88 B4, 28 B+G

HCB B+G, 28 B+G

3 A, 6 B, 2 B+G (3A needs to hit as a counter, and they can recover from the stun to avoid it.)

4 B+K, B, A+G (Pretty much the same as number 1)

3 A, 6 B, 2 Y+K, A+G (Again, 3A needs to hit as a counter)

3 A, QCB A

3 A, 6 B, 2 B+K, A+G

22_88 B, A+G into wall, 2 B+G

3 A, 3 B into wall, 2 A+G

Wow I expected better... I started playing him yesterday and can already do more combos than this... also you should have hit your just frames in a combo video...

This is a really old vid. I thought of making a new one, but others have already done it. Astaroth isn't about long combos anyway. He's better with tech traps and short wall combos.

A simple CH 3K,A, W! 3K,A, W! 2A does around 50%. Why show really long, hard-to-pull-off combos when easy simple ones do more?

And on top of that his voice isn't even scary. He sounds too much like a normal person, instead of a badass souless golem.

I also miss the voice in SCII and the classic sayings...

"It will rain blood today!"

Those disgusting but totally awesome sayings were one of his trademarks! Now his voice even makes him sound like a pussy.

wow its funny most of the people who say they can rape astaroth are just too afriad to fight or make a video of them fighting iuse diffrent moves every second iuse astartoh my favorite is poisedn's throw its would be cheap if Toriyama allowed it to ring out people and please if your so good with cervantes make a video don't brag or lie online it destroys you reputation massively so why do people say this guy is slow ?

@Hellborndelux Really now? Sounds like the opinion of someone who looks for excuses to justify their losses.. asteroth is just another character, calling him cheap doesn't do anything but make yourself look like a jackass.

If your going to insist on complaining about "Cheap" characters, don't play the game, because anyone can view any character as cheap, and any character can be used cheaply.
