The Elf and the Prince

A fairytale waiting to happen
The Elf in the woods and the young Prince, rich and blessed
But they never left their homes, so they died alone and depressed

Fairytales are stories told by fairies thats all
Only good stories? Not quite
Those fairies have wicked, wicked thoughts
And I am not gonna lie; no I never lie why would I lie?
Its not polite!

Because if they would have ever, EVER met
They would have had this epic adventure ahead
There was this death toll rising drought in the land
Forests burning, lakes turned right into sand

They would fight it together in pure harmony
They'd made up this plan to save the country
From the Castle flying on a dragon to the source and back
The firery beast knew how to open all the doors

They arrived at the source and spoke with the sun
They worked out a deal and the fire was gone

People got out of their homes
They celebrated life; out of pure happiness some even cried
But then again: the Elf and the Prince never met so in the end
everyone died
