Summary: Homer Pigeon is in need of glasses so he goes into town to see the optometrist. Will he find the optometrist?

Released January 16, 1956

NOTE: The names on the nests, Alex and Paul, are references to Lantz animation directors Alex Lovy and Paul J. Smith. Homer could be a reference to storyman Homer Brighton, but is most likely a pun on homing pigeon.

This marks the first appearance of Homer Pigeon since "Swing Your Partner" in 1943. It would also be Homer's final appearance.

  • You think this is what's wrong with congress!

  • Él sólo quería un par de gafas...

  • Something about this feels really modern. The score is classic cartoon music, but the character design and some of the tweeny parts of the animation feel like 80s+

  • Nice vid I think my pigeons need glasses lol

  • The same problem goes with "Race Riot" and "Oil's Well".

  • Why did you reupload this?
