  • What does it matter who was the best composer. Stop bickering and appreciate this beautiful playing of the spring sonata without arguing about irrelevant things.

  • I don't remember arguing with anyone about anything holy shit, they're all brilliant composers. I love this movement, this shit makes me jump up and down like a little child. Genuinely.

  • @Johnga2004 Mozart, really? interesting. i heard the Liszt belief, but i never really thought of Mozart being considered most virtuous. thanks for that

  • @Kelsbrat16 You're talking about Bach, right?

  • @RG007145 And before you all start talking about composing, there again I say it's all in the styles. If we are going to talk of a objectively best composer I wouldn't doubt it was Bach, at least in our school of music. Not only for what he wrote itself, but also for laying down pretty much the basics of our contemporary music.

  • @RG007145 None is better. They both composed very different music, both achieved the closest thing to perfection that could be achieved in their style. As composers, I don't think they can be compared. If you're playing the "deaf" card, I could tell you that a) he knew how things sounded when he was deaf, so there was no problem in that, or b) I could play the pianist card, since mozart is said to be the best pianist ever to walk the Earth.

So please, don't compare. They are both at the top

  • @Miikeru Neither was Beethoven for a long time in his life. Don't mix things up dude

  • @sclyfies It really is. Such a great piece of music!
