This is a full game of the SNES version of my most played game, the original Bubsy. I was so eager to play it for the game's audio, but also to see what differences there were between it and the more familiar Genesis version. This is the first take and I only allowed one take so I can accurately relive the experience. The fair world is one of my favorites because it is both pretty and it is the easiest world to get "faster than 32". The music is pretty much equally liked compared to the Genesis version, but it's poorly liked overall. It's only the third worst though for the SNES version, second worst in the Genesis version.
This was as far as I had ever gotten as a child. Getting this far was extremely rare too. Maybe 3% of my runs would so much as reach the fair.

Bubsy is a fairly challenging game. I make it look easy because I have a ridiclous amount of practice. 30 lives by the end of the fair from a new game is nothing new to me. Good luck trying to encounter the 80-lives glitch....

i have the genesis version in a weirdly shaped cartridge, and it always takes me more than one try at beating the carnival level.if need be, i refer to game faqs' web site for level bypassing codes (like STGRTN for popping up in the desert.) btw, i never actually beat the desert.....ONWARD!!!!!!!!!!!

With practice, you shouldn't have too much difficulty. I can go through the whole game with dozens of lives remaining, getting into the 60's eventually. With enough practice, you could even encounter the 80-lives glitch (class 5). You're probably going to have a hard time with the river world though....
