  • Ace Rag call in a turbo is horrible. Anyone that has raised in a turbo isn't folding so you have no fold equity. Why play like a nit for so long only to shove with Ace-Rag where you know your getting callled?

  • It wasn't a call, it was a shove - and I got called by a weaker hand. There were only a few hands here and I was assertive the whole tournament....but thanks.

  • But one orbit doesn't mean a thing with blinds increasing to 200/400/50A in 4 minutes. By then TK will be deep red and will get called by multiple players. Both moves were correct, just unlucky.

  • Turbos generaly turn into a crap shoot anyways. I liked the 8s move but A2 off is called the neverwin hand for a reason :)

  • Given the pot odds, even against an AT the call would still be good.

  • turle, i thoroughly enjoy your poker analysis/breakdown

the A rag and 88 push were excellent.....but the two marginal players donked out

even though you lost, you played it to perfection

  • the 88 push and A2 push were both good.. if u sit and wait for another orbit ur a donkey.. he was ahead in the hand the guy caught the 9 4 was ridiculously lucky.. good plays bad luck

  • I say the A rag shove was good because it doubled as a squeeze play, if king high felt so good about his hand he wouldn't had just flat called the min raise. (there are exception where you know a short stack in the blinds will come over the top and you are holding AA/AK/KK for the back raise) but he made a ify call and got lucky, no way that was a bad play

  • Marty,

I like the way that you worked these out and I respect your plays. I think the only thing I would have done different is that I may have laid the Ace down with a raise and call in front of me. I know it was just a min raise and I hate that play but usually I say min raise is a strong hand and that is why I would lay it down. That said I wasn't in the rest of the tourney and if I was I may have made the same play given the way you describe the players style. Anyhow good vid.. as usual ta!

  • the 9-4 call wasnt really unreal if the guy folded he would have had only 3 bb's he was hoping to be like against 2 high cards obv in another situation it would be horrible but because of his stack size its understandable
