Debt-ridden Romania asks for bail-out - March 11 09

Romania has become the latest European country to ask the European Union and the International Monetary Fund to bail it out of financial mess.

The move is a turnaround from only months ago when the Romanian economy was the fastest-growing in Eastern Europe.

Now, with unprecedented levels of debt, it is set to ask for as much as $25bn.

Alan Fisher reports from Bucharest, the capital.

1937 WWII starded, because of that we ended up a communist country. Communists fucked everything up, culture literature freedom and so on. 1989 we killed our Dictator cause he was an asshole, and then all hell broke loose. Before 1937 Bucharest was "Little Paris" Romanian Lei was 3 times more than a dollar, we had the best, writters, profesors, doctors in europe. Now? well..
