  • @Glywysing942 The Pictish language was supplanted into Scots-Gaelic, many Pictish root words are still used in Scots-Gaelic, it's one of the main parts of the language that separate it from the Irish language along with the dialects.

The first kings of Scotland (Alba) were all Picts who supported Gaelic, the Scottish flag (white ivory saltire set on a celestial blue background) was adopted by a Pictish king centuries earlier by Onengus II.

  • Kernow/Cornwall/Welsh = True Britons/ Brythonic

  • Couple of very wrong facts in the video...

1.@1:00, you state that Queen Elizabeth I of England ruled over five different people in 1603, English, Irish, Cornish, Scottish & Welsh, only ones who weren't ruled were the Scots as enshrined within Scots law, Scots are the sovereign of Scotland themselves and their monarch was King James VI of Scots, who took over the English throne in 1603.

2.@1:47, you state the union was integration into England, wrong!, it was a political union of the nations.

  • devon had its own stannary parliament in 1201 same time cornwall got it they were given it together by king john, devon ceased in the mid to late 1800's when the last tin mines shut so its not just a cornwll thing like i said on other posts devon and cornwall, no real diference

  • @segano1 so everyone in england are from germanic/saxon origin!!! think you will find your massively wrong better do more research my friend

  • And by the way Jim....... Kernewek nyns yu sawsenek! I'm a Cornishman, and your English flag (or butchers apron) is as repulsive to us as a Nazi one would be to Jewish people. Hang on a minute, comparison here...... They were denied rights, an independent nation, language, and basically exploited too. Just before the ethnic cleansing! Granted, no holocaust or Kristallnacht, but a lot of comparisons. Maybe you should let us go, just like Israel!

  • @Jimbell1984..... Looks like you're first against the wall....

  • Ironic that all the Cornish independence activists are speaking English. I bet 99% are called Smith, Shepherd & Cooper etc (surnames of Anglo-Saxon & Norman origin).
