Hey outdoorsmike, wait till you have some Asshole pull a knife or gun on you & demand your hard earned money you'll change your mind quick. Its too bad the damn assholes in congress here in Canada banned handguns or I'd have my equalizer strapped to my hip. I have to resort to carrying a knife & I'll be dammed if I ever get robbed again. All police are good for are for are chalk outlining the corpse. I've seen it many times over I've even lost good friends. Survival is up to you!

@DbozenD I'm not going to tell you where I live, but its a gang neighborhood. I'm not involved with that crap.There's many area's that are just as bad as Jane&finch. The media only shows a few instances of violence, not everything is one t.v. or the news. I've gone to bed, woke up & there's yellow tape someone got knifed it never made the news...not one single article on the matter. I've had friends also in bad neighborhoods seen & heard of crimes that never made it to the public eye.

so does that mean if someone breaks in your house and tries to hurt you or your family that you cant use your firearm for home defense? what were our countries men thinking when they took the right to carry and own for home defense away? its a shame.

@mrgruber Sorry I should have made myself clear. You're correct handguns are not banned its just you cannot open or conceal carry a firearm. Its also a disgrace that criminals are given rights while committing crimes. One cannot even use their fire arm to protect themselves or their home. Socialist country my dead dogs ass Canada is fascist.
