Hoagy Carmichael is a song writer waiting to be rediscovered and celebrated by a new generation of music lovers! My eclectic musical tastes include Verdi, Stephen Sondheim. and - yes - even Lady Gaga. That should tell you that am not a snob! There is a special place in my heart for some of the artists of the great American songbook, including Hoagy, Johnny Mercer, Harold Arlen, & Frank Loesser, among others. Those of us who love their work should do what we can to keep their songs alive!
