@TangerineGroovin right i was reading an interview with eddie and he was talking bout how he had nhis guitar wiyth him everywhere he'd bring it to dinner and everything. but theyu didn't have the option of using tabs but it was hell a lot easier to be asn innovator bck then

yep, by ear. thats how eddie van halen got so good.. just by learning every song that came on the radio, by ear. eddie played for 18+ hours a day of guitar, believe it or not. he didnt have tabs and look how amazingly skilled he is. Did jimi hendrix have tabs? nah. But, I have been playing piano, bass, and guitar for about 9-10 years now. after plenty of time on the guitar man, you will need tabs less and less.

@TangerineGroovin thanks man, but yeah i have really been workin a lot on my ear training cause a lot of the bands i listen to there are no tabs to em so how am i supposed to learn em right haha
