Iraqi Christians in Mosul are under attack with dozens murdered over the past few weeks for praying in church rather than a mosque.

Excuse me, but atheists aren't your problem. Religion's worst enemy is itself. Throughout history, most crimes against Christians have been perpetrated by other religions, but even more so by other denominations of Christianity.

You're right about one thing, atheists tend to be scared shitless of dying, but if everyone believed this was their only life, they'd be more keen to preserve the one they have, and wouldn't go to war unless there was no better option.
