Lightning Storm - September 30, 2006

Yes, the title in the middle is annoying, but it's the only way to get the title as my icon...a YouTube trick...ala "Avalanche From Hell."

A line of storms came into our area...just as we were watching the OSU-Iowa football game. My wife had just arrived back from some errands when she told me about the "amazing light show" she saw to the north as she was driving home...

...so much for football. Storm came through a few minutes later with some strong winds and rain. They were severe when I shot the footage. Enjoy.

Oh, Montreal can be pretty awful too, when it wants to be...one lighting storm last about 45 mins...I kept trying to sleep but it makes that huge ass 'crack' noise whenever it strikes -.-

Texas has the longest lightning storms you'll ever see. The longest one was right over my house and lasted abou two hours! No thunder, just lightning. The lightning never even struck within 500 feet
