PBR Wifi Battle 87—The Legend of Mata Normie! (Mono-Normal)

Hey?! See what I did there? With the title and all that? Huh? Huh? ...I'm such a dork... I'll be quiet...

Okay, I'll just skip past the bad jokes and move on. Anyways, here's a battle with the Normal Team versus a legendary user. With Dark Void Darkrai. Fun. Fortunately, my team is prepared to handle such threats!

Two 'new' guys today! First, is Kangaskhan 2.0. I raised a new Kanga with a better nature and different move set. I think she came out pretty well. The REAL new guy here, though, is Kecleon. That's right. Kecleon. And this one doesn't serve simply to set up Trick Room. This one is meant to cause as much damage as possible, however it can, while lasting as long as possible. And thus far, I've not been disappointed. I hope you all won't be either!

Another star this battle was Swellow. I'll just say this: I never truly appreciated the power of Guts on Swellow until this battle. A shame I haven't seen more of 'em! But hey, Stealth Rocks, yeah... I get it...

@Dazmaster75 Normally, yeah. But Swellow has the Guts ability, which ignores the attack cut from Burn, and actually increases attack by 50%. So Facade becomes a BP 210 move from a Pokemon with 50% more attack.

@Erebus72588 ahh ok, burn is better because it doesnt increase damage take to the afflicted party, but if you wanted a total powerhouse swellow then poison orb? :p

@Dazmaster75 Burn essentially becomes regular poison. The toxic orb would cause deadly poison, which would cause more damage in the long run. But, for like, the first three turns, it doesn't really matter either way.

@pokemon4964 I don't know about a mono-legendary team... But you're right, I have done WAY too many Grass team battles. I'll try to mix things up more in the future.
