Excellent technique (he could do away with the exaggerated posing though) but boring.

His Liszt sounds like anything else he plays: it all sounds the same regardless of the composer. "Sanitized" is the word that comes to my mind: where is this Hungarian Folk colour, the folk roughness combined with the Liszt refinement ?

People who know Liszt and who can play this piece, would say that this guy is not playing it well. His fingers are fast but he doesnt put any feelings into the piece at all. Its a mystery for me how he got that famous.

ALSO, you are right though...his songs sound so PERFECTLY rehearsed...no doubt the HOURS spent practicing. Let's see any one of YOU try playing a third as well as he does!!
