Well I have learned something brand new: I assumed that Lupe was Puerto Rican since my Puerto Rican friends introduced me to her and I even had the chance to see her in concert in Town Hall in New York before she died. She was a total artist, even in her final years and this is a voice that no one, nowhere will ever be able to duplicate. The use of this song at the end of "Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown" is the perfect ending to one of the most original and funny films ever made.
