@tlathird And why is it that you think so?

If you'd like to close the circle, check out the Stanley Brothers' (Dr. Ralph and his late brother Carter) more old-timey performance of 'Man Of Constant Sorrow':

What's not to like: 3 of the most amazing and beautiful "sireen" singers around today; Ralph Stanley singing an impassioned prayer keeping death at bay for another year or the Soggy Bottom Boys aka Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Ralph Stanley, Gillian Welch and Emmylou Harris.
Mercy...That's just some Great Music no matter what you want to call it.

and not a single dislike!

Ralph Stanleys' performance is the most soulful I've ever seen. Listen to the words carefully as he prays Death away for another year. It is absolutely riveting and moving. Incredible performance Mr. Stanley, you are a master at your chosen trade!

This performance stunned me when I watched the Grammy's. I had never seen "O Brother Where Art Thou", but to hear this song, Ralph Stanley's "O Death" and the Soggy Bottom Boys caused me to quickly by the album and later the movie. This is classic!
