staged and lame video if wing chun is so good why doesnt work against a combative fighter all you ever see is staged and half speed crap take that shit to vegas and step in the cage see what happens

Is this Roy Dean's school?

@Smallstothewall well how often does that work out? ive been doing bjj and mma for a 5 years and bjj isnt made for you to be on your back the hole time. its to help you defend yourself while you are on botom and sweep your opponent so that you are on top and can punch or submit your opponent
-
lol @ all the SERIOUS DISCUSSION going on about a joke vid
-
If someone wedges their forearm while in your guard they have given you an opportunity to submit them by armbar, taking their back, or putting them in an arm triangle. That BJJ guy had no idea what he was doing.
-
Leaving your arm pressed against my throat on the ground leaves you wide open to shoulder lock on that arm armbar or transition to a sweep to top position.
-
Hmmmm... Yeah you might have your forearm on my throat for a second, but its only your strength holding it there. There is no lock, its just the effort of your push. So first and foremost all you would have to do is just push away with your legs and then you cant push hard enough to do any real damage. Even if I didn't push you away, your arm is still extended and thus ready to be armbared. Wing Chun is good for standing, but you cant beat a bjj practioner on the ground, Promise.

Lol you people are crazy. " I wouldnt want to be on the bottom" Thats what BJJ is based on. Attacking from your back. If you think whoevers on bottom is automatically losing youve obviously never done a day of jits in your life. Id prefer to be in guard pulling at the back of the head and arms. Its a lot harder to punch someone on in guard then it looks. Its all about whos controlling who. Also i know this is a joking vid, but elbow to the throat is a bad idea. Arm triangles.

@wyattperrybjj I practice what my friends call lazy and wussy boxing. If I can keep my stance from moving I do.. if I have to move I prefer shifting on heels before stepping.. I always favor safety over risks and never sacrifice keeping covered for power. I make it a point to always keep the joints in the body aligned in such away so that I prevent long term damage and can use the least amount of muscle possible.I am a small person so these thinsg are important.I can't use "HULK SMASH" kungfu :)
