I did lots of troubleshooting this a.m. and honestly DO NOT ROOT if you are using ginger bread 2.3.6 let's wait and see if they can root this version. Seriously I spend 3 plus hours working on this,.finally I'm back normal

I have Gingerbread 2.3.6 and now my Wifi won't work so I can't connect to any wifi networks. If I would unroot it so it would downgrade to 2.3.4. then reroot it will my phone be fine? Otherwise your tutorial was great. Thanks for any feedback you could give.

anybody found anything out about 2.3.6?  in about phone they have put a generic build code 2.6.35.7 any body have any builds for rooting this? should i go back to 2.3.4 then root?
