Maybe she wanted to get rid of some kitty litter, perhaps?
Text from news.com.au:
A BRITISH woman who caused outrage by dumping a cat in a bin faced a potential investigation today while maintaining her actions were just a joke, arguing "it's just a cat".
The RSPCA has announced it will launch a probe after a woman was captured on CCTV putting a cat, Lola, into a large green rubbish bin.
The middle-aged bank worker from Coventry was named as Mary Bale by The Sun newspaper as thousands of people joined a Facebook group demanding she face criminal charges for the way she treated the four-year-old cat, Lola.
Ms Bale said: "I really don't see what everyone is getting so excited about - it's just a cat.
"I don't know what came over me, but I suddenly thought it would be funny to put it in the wheelie bin, which was right beside me.
"Everything has gone crazy because of a stupid spur-of-the-moment thing I did - but I know I only have myself to blame."
Police have been posted outside the woman's home as a "sensible precaution".
British Sky News reported that the woman was offered police protection because of the "level of vitriol against her".
Ms Bale's mother, Celia, defended her daughter, saying: "She loves cats."
Ms Bale had told her said she did not know "what had come over her".
"Mary said she just didn't know was possessed her, or what came over her, it's just very strange because she cannot explain her actions at all," Celia Bale said.
"She absolutely adores cats, she's an animal lover, it just doesn't make sense."
Ms Bale was filmed on Saturday picking up Lola and stroking her before grabbing her by the scruff of the neck and dumping her in a wheelie bin.
She then closed the lid and walked away.
The cat's owners, Stephanie and Darryl Mann, found Lola 15 hours later when they heard meowing coming from the bin. The cat has since recovered from the ordeal.
The couple's home security system captured the footage of the animal cruelty, and they posted it online in the hope that someone would recognise the woman.
Police said they had not arrested Ms Bale because she had not committed a crime.
The RSPCA said they were investigating the incident.

@ShaneZeal
I was actually about the 4th person to upload this video.
I uploaded this video not to get views, but to see how messed up some people are in their heads.
The reason why people who uploaded this video later than me have more views, is because they name the video something like 'Mental Issued Pedophile Woman throws beautiful nice kitteh in bin'.
