There are some magnetic motors you'll see on YT that use an electric motor to get them started. I assume the inertia thus created is taken to be free energy. LOL.

If people would spend even one percent of the time and effort they put in to these devices actually studying the basic laws of mechanics and, WHY those laws exist., they might actually accomplish something of value. Instead, we get pretty pieces of nonsense.

That's funny. I actually use the physics of the curveball ( Magnus effect ) to teach the the Lorentz force / cross product rule. Not a perfect analog. But, it gets the point across. Of course, I rarely teach anymore :)
