Talking to the Moon - Bruno Mars (cover)

one of my friends said "have you heard talking to the moon by bruno mars ?"...i looked it up and and i wanted to learn it :D ..so i decided to play it on the upright piano..but i think it sounds kinda mushy..? ..and my singing isn't all that great in this one -__-

ok, constructive criticism:

The singing... Bruno Mars is a very gifted singer. But this is sung SO MUCH BETTER!!! Now, if you just ease on the pedal and dont make the piano so very overbearing, it would be perfect! And perhaps a little less improv at the beginning, this is such a soft song it should be guided into rather than shock started. But those two things are really it and the latter may be a matter of personal preference.

I wish I could sing like that...

@SumDayIWill thank you so much!! that really helped- i completely agree.. it was my first time recording on an acoustic piano and like you said i think i used too much pedal.. and that's very true.. it's a slow mellow song.. now that i listen to it, it seems like i sorta overdid the beginning.. thanks again for your comment! :) :)

I've been sittin on here for like 20 minutes listening to covers of this song and you have hands down one of the most beautiful voices and skilled fingers.
