  • I remember seeing this the first time it came on TV. You knew it was Ernie Kovacs on screen, and you kept waiting and Waiting AND WAITING for a punch line, but he finished the dramatic reading straight - THEN did something funny. What a genius! Don't weep that he died too young, but rejoice that he lived at all - and left behind what he did, for us to enjoy.
