House update

Here's the house video from last week. They put the insulation in this week and it is all wired and plumbed and sheetrock is next! Woohoo!

I am thinking you are going to lose that terrific view out the front window with more houses to be built? It's coming along in great shape and they did a good job with the elec box. This will be lovely for you and your mom. I hope we get a tour once you are settled in too! xo

What a great house! Not so big that it will be tons of work to maintain and not so small that you and your mother will feel crowded. And one storey. There's nothing like having no stairs to deal with as you get older. Congratulations on your new home! I bet you can't wait to have your very own place!

@1DRock37167 Kind of. They are shelves for flower boxes. The idea is to put the planters on the shelves and that way they aren't prone to rot from the moisture. Mom's already planning what to put there! That's it! Circuit breaker...I knew that but couldn't remember! Thanks!

I am not afraid to be excited about it now Daryl, because I know it is mine!

Love your house! I love watching the progress of it! Aw, you should have had them put in a Jacuzzi bath tub in the master bath! :)) But then maybe not.. I have one but am a shower person and have only taken a bath in mine about 2 o3 times in almost 5 years living there! LOL

That is so neat ,it is comming along. Can't wait to see it all finished. I know you and your mom are excited. I think it is great the utility box is in the garage. You won't have to go outside to check on the fuse box if a light has gone out.

It's lookin' great Lori! =) If It's like mine the box in the garage ceiling will be your overhead light and there will probably be an electrical outlet next to it to plug in your garage door opener. It looks like the next step is drywall and insulation! You'll be surprised when that's done! You will get a better idea of exactly what your layout is and room size much better. The exterior is beautiful with the sidin' up and windows in. I can't wait to see another update. Hugs To You And Bella! =)

No, the garage door opener won't be in for a while but the wires get run to them while they are doing all the other wiring. Cool! It's going to be so nice!  And not an apartment! It will be your very own home!!!!!!!! How cool that you and your Mom could do this together. I'm loving the updates - but for right now, good luck tomorrow - I wish I could send you a welcome bouquet of flowers! Enjoy!
