This video of the president shows he wasn't always a good speaker. In this 1991 ad for the TBS "Black History Minute," then-Harvard Law Review editor Obama appears a little less comfortable in front of the camera than he is today. He relies heavily on the teleprompter. Barack Obama gave a more memorable speech at the 2004 Democratic National Convention which catapulted him to political fame and also secured his place as one of the USA's best-known orators. The video above from his earlier years is drawing renewed national attention.
