Night Vision movie taken with AN/PVS-5.wmv

Night Vision movie taken through AN/PVS-5 after a street-light-power-failure. House lights are on, as you can see, but there's no moon so it's very dark. Some light is reflected from the clouds from nearby suburbs too. You can also see the car alarms flashing in the cars. Just a wander up the street with my camera. The AN/PVS-5 has been heavily modded and looks like an AN/PVS-14... A project of mine.

Hey Really good mate, are these the "c" model?

i have AN/PVS-5c and they are brilliant.

also what camera/model did you hold up the the lens, seems to pick it up very well.

Yes, it's a PVS-5c, although it's modified with a PVS-14 compatible housing, so it looks like a PVS-14. I used the mount-point to attach the camera with a Yukon camera adapter. The camera is a cheap Canon A590... Nothing too special. David.
