    I use a GoPro HD Hero in 3:4 mode 30fps.

    I take the raw file and cut it into rough chunks I think are worth using using a program called "Power Director" by a company called Cyeberlink and then use the same program to export the rough chunks as an AVI file.

    I then open the AVI file with "Windows Live Movie Maker" and add music, then try and edit the rough chunks into some sort of flow with the music and put a few wipes in and add the credits and captions as a last option.
