@throwitout1 Please stop insulting yourself. Your ignorance is really appalling...even The Holy Bible (NT) talks about the code of honor between believer and non-believer couple. Also in Old testament must read Deuteronomy, Leviticus and Numbers...that should teach you a thing or two. Besides when you speak about Hinduism, the oldest religion in the world. a religion that never forced its belief on the people, rather encouraged debate and discussion, you should read more.

Following a religion that teaches that a creator god is represented by three entities and that drinking cheap red wine and stale bread every week will bring you closer to that god isn't silly?

I'm not trying to defend certain acts by Hindus, but Christianity has more than its fair share of skeletons (i.e. Spanish inquisition, crusades, persecution of non-christians by missionaries) in its closet.

Also, you're saying that "In India, only Hindu violence is tolerated" is completely inaccurate. Just because the violence happens doesn't mean it is TOLERATED at all. Christians and Hindus lived in harmony for more than a millennium before the coming of the Portuguese and their fanatical Goa Inquisition. This was followed a few centuries later by the racist British Raj of Victorian Imperialist England.

Yes Krishna does say that the body is only temporary, and that the atma is the only permanent thing there is, however that does not mean he sanctions needless murder. That's exactly what Arjuna was supposed to fight! He's merely stating that what Arjuna's doing is not as permanent as he thinks it is. I respect Jesus' teachings about murder murder is wrong, something that Hindu scriptures condemn in the doctrine of ahimsa (doing the least possible harm); Krishna does not go against that at all.

Have you read the Bhagavad Gita AT ALL jy768? Krishna says that killing ones own kin is justified WHEN ALL OTHER OPTIONS HAVE BEEN EXHAUSTED. Indeed, the Pandavas tried everything, peace talks, negotiations etc. War was the last resort. Arjuna STILL feels terrible about being forced to kill his relatives (who wouldn't?). Krishna tells him it is his duty to kill the Kauravas because if he does not, they will commit even more horrible atrocities.

They desecrated Hindu idols and destroyed photos of the slain religious leader revered by Hindus. The Christians also raped two female devotees and brutally attacked two men who had come to the ashram for puja (religious rituals).

Hinduism is a laughing stock. As they worship their cows and other false gods their people starve. They reject the Creator God and worship the creation rather than the Creator. They are to be rebuked and I thank God that there are a remnant in this nation that stands up against the mockery of the Hindu prayer.
