My Grandma was like that. A couple of years ago I came across a bottle of perfume in the mall that I just had to have. It was old lady perfume but it reminded me of my Grandma and in the store it nearly brought me to tears. Sometimes, I just spray it in the air and it brings me back to my grandma for awhile.

Such perverse and dangerous loyalty does exist and is alarming. I'd be horrified if one of my family expressed that sociopathic level of "unconditional love". A willingness to be an accomplice to murder is not a virtue, nor is allowing someone to be killed really doing a service to the murderer. I wonder if she would have admired the sentimentality of someone who remained protectively silent while their sibling killed Penn?
