I just randomly park my bike from time to time while watching it with a sniper rifle from afar. After a few attempts at robbing it, thieves have now learned their places.

Wow, this is the worst bicycle alarm I have ever seen. You can find another one much, much more sensitive than this. With yours someone can easily cut the chain/lock without the alarm being activated. On some other models it's enough to make the slightest move possible on the bike and the alarm will scream immediately. I heavily suggest you to throw yours away and get a better one.
