Well that was one of the best efforts I've ever seen. Sadly...hell will freeze over before the 2 terms are ever used properly despite this valiant effort. Good job though. LOL

I think best way to remember is that a rifle/gun magazine is truly a "magazine" in the original, Arabic meaning of the word, "makhzan" (singular) or "makhazin" (plural) = "storehouse(s)"; a "clip" is a clip which holds items together (in this case, bullets) , just like a paper clip holds papers. I guess the point is that soldiers need an efficient way to reload their assault rifles, especially when doing so under fire!
