I've been more interested in Dr. Charan's *general* approach to managing and linking business processes, so, no, I have not focused on financial metrics. I do think it would be interesting to look at where his work intersects with Kaplan's & Norton's "balanced scorecard" work; that might help one understand the emphasis on metrics -- and on financial metrics in particular.
Great video! I am a big fan of Ram Charan. In all of his books he shares the importance of key financial metrics: profit margin, cash, velocity, growth and roi. Have you done any additional work of synthesizing Ram's teachings? It would be a good contribution from your side to share that.
