We'll have to disagree on this one. The Wilsons goof on the 1980s music scene every chance they get - and they were a part of it. Ann even said "grunge" was a rebellion, and that they (Heart) was part of what the raw, unpretentious new sound was rebelling against - power ballads all over the radio dial. We'll have to disagree on "Alone", too. Yucky. Sorry.

  • @mediacritic They don't lament the songs they recorded, just the fact that their other work wasn't given as much attention by the record companies. Sometimes it takes a while to realize that only one side is compromising. BTW, their recorded stuff in the 80 was pretty damn good; especially ALONE.

  • Heart always laments their 80's days, but nobody twisted their arms. They put out awful music and incredibly embarrassing videos - and made a fortune. I think the Wilsons are super musicians and they've written and performed many classic songs I still love, but the 80s weren't something that was "done to them", so to speak.

  • That was great. I love to hear what Ann has to say. She's always been my idol (her and Nancy of course!). Thanks! Ok. next ! !
