Ok, so i play this game a LOT im hooked on it but I've done so much that the loops just make things sounds kind of repetative and I've even changed up the audio and stuff to make it sound completely different. I just want a new EZ muze to come out, I don't care if I have to special order it, I just love making things on this game :).
Cool! Well I wish you all the best! Do you know if it'll be a 2009 or 2010 release? It's just really good to have a innovative music game on the market. I've been using Korg DS-10 for the mean time and to be honest, it's quite limited in it's options. Only 2 synths and 1 drum line can play at a time and the synths can't use chords. Just singular notes.
I'm thinking 2010. We're putting out another CG version called Drum and Bass edition first.
And damn, about DS-10. haha. I haven't used it, but that doesn't sound like much. if you have an iPhone or iPod touch, check out "Bleep box". It's not out yet, but it's by a friend of mine and it's pretty involved. 16 channels of synthesis and all kinds of crazy business going on. There's a video about it here on Youtube.
Really? Wow, the DS beaten by an iPhone/iPod xD I'll be sure to check it out. As for the next release before ezmuze pro. I'd probably ksip that as it's not my genre though I was just wondering... I know that in the Hamst3r Edition you have got video based tutorials, but what I was suggesting, is maybe for the pro edition was to make an interactive tutorial. On the PS2 there was this game called MTV Music Generator 2. It had a tutorial that helped as it was interactive. But it was in the booklet
so I was suggesting that a tutorial for like say, a 30 sec beat would possibly be good. Video tutorials help alot but giudelines in real time for say, your first time playing (or for future reminder have an option to og to the tutorial. maybe even have it as an already saved beat so that they can adapt to it.
It's just a thought. Though I was wondering what your opinion on this is? Anywho keep up the great work! I think I'll be buying this today (I got points). Time to make some beats!!! n_n
Yeah, interactive tutorials is the kind of stuff we want to do. :D
It all came down to: we could still be working on Hamst3r Edition right now, implementing all this stuff and trying to convince Microsoft to make it an Arcade title, without knowing if people would even want this sort of thing...or put it out as a CG, get feedback and go crazy in the next version. :D
MS just lowered the top CG price to 400 points too, so if we waited and didn't get on Arcade, we'd be X_x.
O_o Your game is worth 800 in the UK last time I remember at least. They better not be making a cheap profit off your game... that would be a out of order.
So are you trying to do what Microsoft have already done with Biology Battle? It won a competition and there is the same game with a different name but better graphics and features. By what you've displayed, you've got what it takes to go for an arcade title. Microsoft can be asonatric morons at times =/

Glad you're into ezmuze. We're working on DnB edition right now. We want to get around 2000 loops in it. Hamst3r edition has 600 loops.
Dunno when it'll be out yet.
Also, the upcoming patch for ezmuze will be removing the need to do this as the unlock system is being removed. :)
