This is a video diary from Liz Diller, a Principal at Diller Scofidio + Renfro (ds+r). She's with her husband, fellow ds+r Principal, Ricardo Scofidi, and they are touring the High Line on a Sunday afternoon.
During the last construction boom the New York cityscape changed radically. There are new buildings, new parks, new landmarks and a lot of unfinished condos. The financial crisis has powered down the cranes, and WNYC is taking advantage of this moment to look around and examine how much the city has changed, and where it's heading next.

Liz and Ric. Great job on the High Line + LC. Also enjoyed Liz's interview at the Aspen Conference. Experiment more with the Youtube venue. It's highly underutilized by architects in any kind of serious way. Look at how few video's exist on Youtube about LC. What a sign this is a blind spot for serious architectural discourse. It shouldn't be. You two could be the thoughtleaders.
