Exciting news as Six Flags Discovery Kingdom's new attraction in 2012 will be SUPERMAN Ultimate Flight, a one-of-a-kind super launch coaster that features the tallest inversion west of the Mississippi and will rank alongside the tallest coaster inversions in the world. At 150' feet high, riders will experience lightning speeds of 62 mph, with two upside-down twists and two vertical rolls over 863 feet of track. This ride also marks the park's first DC Comics-themed ride.

  • @nelsonr12 Yep, so expect 24-hour waits.

  • I'd rather they get rid of Kong. That ride sucks and jerks around too much -___- it hurts my head

  • six flags discovery kingdom always has weird twisty rides

  • @cedwardca I was aware of that. Just saying that without Medusa, V2, or SkyScreamer to compare it to, it would probably seem smaller.

  • This is to the owners of discovery kingdom, if you want to make the ride drop bigger make a tunnel on a drop so it could be a 170 foot drop with out breaking the law of all the rides have to be 150 feet tall

  • and it is not breaking the rools becuase ther is a roll at the top and your head got to be at the of the gread to be breaking the rools

    :)

  • i think they shold bild it where the racing cars is at no one gose on that

  • Love the music it makes this video even more epic than the ride its self

  • @AarontheEpicLBT

Its true, was a season pass holder this year and they were advertising it in the park, not to mention sixflags has had rights to marvel for almost what, 6 or 7 years now?

  • @AarontheEpicLBT

Actually, it can only possibly be as tall as medusa. The city of Vallejo has a height limit of 150ft which is the same as medusa. Six Flags actually broke this rule once before when they originally built Vertical Velocity, thats why they had to shorten the vertical Drop and extend the twisted tower north at a lower degree.

  • @javiayer Welcome to Vekoma...

  • The unique thing about it is that, when compared with the park's other 150' rides, it looks much larger than you'd think.
